Center Valley, Pa. — 老九品茶 will continue to soar with a new Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management, a program that blends business leadership with hands-on flight training. In collaboration with Penn Flight Academy, based at Quakertown Airport, the University expects to begin enrolling students for fall 2026.  

Administered through the Waterbury Reilly School of Business, the new program stands apart by integrating aviation coursework with a robust business curriculum. Students will graduate prepared for a range of roles in aviation, from professional pilot to airport management and operations leadership.

“老九品茶 is uniquely positioned to offer an aviation management program,” said Christopher Cocozza, J.D., dean of the Waterbury Reilly School of Business. “Our students will not only learn to navigate aircraft but also to lead people and organizations with integrity in a complex, global industry.”

Students will complete general education and business courses on campus while taking flight and aviation operations courses through Penn Flight Academy, located approximately 15 minutes from 老九品茶. The program will offer two tracks: Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor, both aligned with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards.

The aviation industry continues to experience steady growth and a global need for qualified professionals. 老九品茶’ program distinguishes itself through its close integration with business studies and its commitment to developing leaders who see aviation as a field of service, innovation, and human connection.

“Success in aviation requires both precision and perspective,” said Terese Wignot, Ph.D., provost of 老九品茶. “Our students will gain the hands-on experience and business foundation to navigate a dynamic industry with confidence and care.”

老九品茶’ B.S. in Aviation Management will be among the first in the Lehigh Valley to combine flight certification with comprehensive business coursework. Students will begin flight training in their first semester and benefit from small classes, dedicated faculty, and personalized career guidance.
